Men's Ministry

This Year's Theme:  Worthy of the Call 

St. Paul begs us to live a life worthy of the call we have received. That Man Is You, a fraternal lecture series within SJN Men’s Ministry, is gathering men together this year to explore how to respond to the call to holiness and address the pressures and temptations men face in our modern culture.  We meet on Saturday mornings for prayer, breakfast, a video, and small group discussions.  Through our fellowship, we build up and support each other in our journeys to become the men, husbands, and fathers that we are called to be.

How often?  Every Saturday Morning thru December 9th.
Where?  The SJN Parish Center
What if I miss sessions?  The sessions do not build on each other.  Come back when you can!

“Men of St. Joseph” is a regular gathering of men striving to more fully live out the virtue of chastity.

We courageously share our concerns and experiences with each other in an atmosphere of prayer, caring, and support, with a strict commitment to confidentiality. We pursue sexual purity of mind, body, and spirit, and freedom from behaviors that create obstacles to God’s grace.

Through trusting friendships, we support each other during challenging moments, whenever they occur. In the last 10 years, we’ve found brotherly accountability and living a true Catholic sacramental life to be effective tools to help us grow in the virtue of chastity in order to become the men God calls us to be. A priest is available to us for individual confessions monthly.

Please join the Men of SJN  at the Lone Oak Brewery in Olney on October 19th from 5:00-8:00PM for a Men's Night Out.  Plenty of food and great beer will be available.  We hope to see you there.

Please join us at the Neumann House from 6:00-8:30PM on September 30th for good food and drink, the chance to chat with friends, and play cards in a relaxed atmosphere.

The event is open to all men of the parish. Pizza, pupusas and drinks will be provided.
